Obama Gives a Pass to Rick Perry

Nashua, NH - Obama’s recent comments about Rick Perry‘s, “treasonous” gaff, “He has only been at it a couple of months” may not be entirely true, ok, but it seems a unfair assumption for the longest-serving governor in Texas history.

Perry, of course became governor Dec. 20, 2000, when Gov. George W. Bush resigned to be president. Perry won full terms in 2002 and 2006.

While be groomed by President Bush to take over the Governorship who would thought he would try to fill the Presidential shoes also? Perry is backed by big oil companies, as was the Bush family.

The similarities of these two men is eerily similar, and the more Rick Perry talks the more the Dems will embrace him. Trying to tell the Fed chairman how to do his job was the worst of mistakes. The Fed operates indepedately of any political party. Bernanke, was groomed for his position as Fed chairman and it would be wise to leave the economic decisions to the experts.

It seems the GOP is afraid the economy will recover before next election and Obama will seize the credit.
